Level 1 Espresso Barista Course

Service Description

Our 2.5 hour session will consist of getting to know the espresso coffee machine and the drinks we make with it, as well as practical skills that equip you to confidently handle the day-to-day of coffee making. We take a hands-on approach to learning. After our trainers explain demonstrate each technique, you’ll step up to the machines yourself—practicing how to make coffee and building your skills through real experience. You will be taught by professional baristas who have been trained to teach at London School of Coffee and have years of experience in the coffee industry. You’ll leave with greater confidence, deeper knowledge of coffee, and barista skills that stand out—an impressive addition to any CV and a valuable asset for advancing your career in the coffee industry. Key skills you will learn- - Grinder & Espresso Machine operation, cleaning & maintenance. - The perfect espresso & its daily quality control. - Milk texturing techniques. - Drinks preparation & presentation. Experience required- No experience necessary. Ideal for those new to the coffee industry, individuals looking to refine their barista skills, or employers wanting to elevate their team’s coffee standards and establish consistent best practices in the workplace. Minimum number of persons- 2 We believe students learn the most in this session when paired with at least one other participant, allowing for shared learning and collaboration. Max no of persons- 6 Additional information- Price- £100 + VAT Duration- 2.5 hours We ask that students come to the session 15 minutes prior to their booking time. Location- Your training session will take place at our premises: Westfield Ln, Westfield, Hastings TN35 4SQ Please note there is one small flight of stairs to get up to the training area.
